Weekend menu 

I got company this weekend! Hooray!

here's the tentative menu plan:

Friday dinner
ham with a brown sugar/ginger snap crust (a la Alton Brown)
spinach au gratin
cornbread
pineapple fruit salad or homemade applesauce

Saturday lunch
Out somewhere fun! Raging burrito? Or maybe Thai food?

Saturday dinner
cheesey mushroom risotto...probably with leftover ham!
fresh salad
crusty italian bread


I need dessert ideas. Kev can't have chocolate at night, and I'm allergic to nuts. This leaves out many options. Maybe strawberry shortcake...I've noticed some pretty good looking strawberries in the stores lately. Probably expensive, though. Any suggestions?
